Founded by professional speakers and trainers Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz, creators of Go for No!®, Courage Crafters Inc. is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations overcome self-imposed limitations and achieve breakthrough performance.
About Andrea… Andrea grew up in Orange County California and had many dreams, including writing screenplays, books, and pursuing her interest in becoming a forensic criminologist. After a rather spectacular turn-around, from a teenager who enjoyed skipping classes to a college student who got straight A’s, Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Cal State Long Beach.
But, after deciding that crime fighting wasn’t really her dream, Andrea accepted a position with LensCrafters, moving quickly through the ranks and becoming – at the age of 24 – the youngest manager to run $3 million dollar store in the company’s history. And it was while doing training for LensCrafters that she not only got the bug to teach and develop others, it is also where she met Richard! The co-author of four books and hundreds of published articles on sales and management topics, Andrea is also the editor of the Courage Crafters e-zine “ROAR!” which is read by thousands of business professionals every month. Today, Richard & Andrea are living their dream of writing books and traveling the country, speaking to tens of thousands of people and changing lives with their Go for No! message.
About Rich… "I spent the greater part of my sales and management career with an enormous fear of failure and rejection," admits Rich. "and, as a result, I robbed myself of achieving true success for many years.” This is not to say Rich hasn't had his share of success! As an account executive in the fleet sales department for the largest Chevrolet dealer in the United States, Rich learned to sell and serve from a true master… who just happened to also be his father. But with a strong desire to “go out on his own” Richard moved to California where his career took a turn in an entirely different direction, including a stint with Disney before landing key positions in training & development at several of America’s most respected retail organizations, including Hart, Schaffner & Marx, Macy’s, and LensCrafters. But deep down Richard had a burning desire to write and speak professionally. Yet, by his own admission, he would spend years “flirting” with his dream… but not actually doing it. "I was simply too afraid to fail," he says. But remembering his encounter with Harold, years earlier, the man taught him to Go for No! he realized that one of these days was now and a made massive change. Rich launched his own speaking and training business and wrote four books including Go for No!
